BHOPAL: According to heath bulletin, a total of 9.75 lakh Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered in the state on Wednesday. The total number of vaccine doses administered so far in the state has crossed three crore-mark.
As per the CoWin portal, around 10.34 lakh vaccine doses were administered in state till 9 pm on Wednesday which was highest in the country. On July 24 and July 22, highest vaccination in the country was reported from Madhya Pradesh.
Mass vaccination was carried out on Wednesday. Vaccination of pregnant women has started in the state from Friday.
Among the districts where maximum doses were administered on Wednesday include Indore where 62,468 doses were administered followed by Khargone where 41,033 doses were administered, then Ujjain where 37,083 doses were administered. The state government has set a target of administering at least one dose to all 5.7 crore eligible beneficiaries of the state by the end of September, this year.
