More than 87,000 Aldi shoppers queued up online to get their hands on a Specialbuy item.
The budget supermarket restocked its Hanging Egg chair this morning, and fans couldn't wait to get their hands on it.
When customers logged on to the website, they were met with a message to say there were in a virtual queue, the Manchester Evening News reports.
A message on the Aldi website read: "You’re in the queue...
"We’re very sorry, but there are currently lots of people trying to access the Aldi website.
"We’ve automatically placed you in a queue.
"Don’t worry about refreshing - this page will update automatically as soon as you can enter the site."
Aldi appeared to credit the popularity of its site with the new products, adding: "Sorry for your wait, our website is extremely busy at this time. Our Garden Furniture is extremely popular but more stock will be added over the coming weeks!"
If you failed to get your hands on a hanging egg chair, there are plenty available at other retailers.
