841 new cases in capital

The district recorded 841 COVID-19 cases and 1,311 recoveries as the active caseload fell to 8,411 on Sunday.

Among the fresh cases, 797 have been attributed to local transmission, while the source of infection is unknown in 38 cases. Five health workers also tested positive for the infection.
