Lancashire Police force are looking to hire 80 new officers as part of a massive recruitment campaign.

The force is aiming have more officers on the streets soon, as part of a Government's drive to employ more police officers.
Applications for the roles open on March 1, but the force said there will also be further recruitment opportunities in 2021.
Chief Constable Andy Rhodes said: “The fact that we’ve met our local target is excellent - any extra officers on the streets is good news for us and for Lancashire residents.
“Having met all of the new recruits, I know we’ve been fortunate to attract some fantastic candidates all with different skills and experiences who will be able to make a real difference to our local communities.”
