80 jobs available at East Midlands Airport as recruitment drive is launched

More than 80 permanent jobs are up for grabs as East Midlands Airport launches a new recruitment drive.

The roles being advertised are for security and car park workers, with the first round of interviews taking place on December 12.

Successful candidates will receive training in January and they will be employed all year round, rather than just in the busy summer season.

Applicants do not need to have previous experience working in security or car parking, but will need to show customer service skills.

Felicia Farrimond, senior recruitment and vetting co-ordinator (Security) at the airport, said: "As an international gateway and one of the region’s most high-profile businesses, East Midlands Airport is a fascinating place to work.

"As the face of the airport, security and car park teams play a key role in ensuring all customers’ experience of using the airport is a positive one.

"With so much growth happening across the airport site and nearby, this is an exciting time to be working at EMA."

The company employees more than 650 people and security and car park staff will work on shifts.
