A low pressure system midway between the west coast of Africa and the Lesser Antilles has a 80% chance of becoming a cyclone in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Tuesday.
"If current trends continue, advisories could be initiated on this system as a tropical depression later today," the Miami-based weather forecaster said in its latest advisory.
