Tens of thousands of Aldi shoppers crashed the supermarket's website after logging on in a desperate effort to secure the famous garden egg chairs.
The stylish £149 seats sold out in minutes earlier this year, when 87,000 people joined an online surge in the early hours of Easter Sunday to try their hand at purchasing the elusive furniture.
The wicker basket chair was on sale again this weekend, but prospective owners faced another tense wait to find out if they were successful.
But once again, the chairs sold out in record time, with the store confirming stock had sold out by 8:10am on Sunday morning.
Shoppers rushed to social media to share their grievances - and now many are looking for alternatives in other retailers as the warm summer months approach.
One shopper wrote: "Gutted... Up early to buy an @AldiUK Egg chair, only to not have the option to add to my basket and my cart disappear, and then they sell out."
A second shopper added: "All I want is an Aldi egg chair. Checked the website at least every hour during the night but now it says they’re sold out again?!"
Others were lucky, sharing their success at securing a chair.
One wrote: "Think I may have just secured the elusive Aldi egg chair."
Another added: "I’m a proper adult now - I’ve managed to bag an Aldi egg chair and I’m absolutely buzzing about it."
