8 players the Philadelphia Eagles could target in round-4 of the NFL Draft

The Philadelphia Eagles are set to begin round four of the NFL Draft but all fans can think about right now is the No. 53 overall pick being used on a quarterback for development purposes.

The 2020 NFL Draft has put Rounds 2 and 3 in the books, and there are still a handful of talented players still available on the big board.

With 149 picks to go here are eight players that the Eagles could target with their three picks in round four.

1. Curtis Weaver, EDGE, Boise State

Weaver (6-2, 265 pounds) is a high-energy pass rusher that has a huge upside and could help the Eagles transition into a new era when Brandon Graham is done. Weaver racked up 13.5 sacks in 14 games during his final college season.

2. Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia

A big, physical cornerback, Hall was considered to be one of the best cornerbacks in college football entering the 2019 season but suffered a serious ankle injury during an October loss at Miami. As a result, Hall finished the season with 13 solo tackles and four passes defended. Prior to the start of the 2019 season, the senior corner was receiving Day 2 grades from some draft analysts.

3. Bradlee Anae, DE, Utah

Anae has ideal height and weight for an edge rusher and was named first-team All Pac-12 and first-team All American and was awarded the Morris Trophy as the best defensive lineman in the Pac-12 and was a finalist for the Ted Hendricks Award in 2019.

4. Tyler Johnson, WR, Minnesota

Johnson isn’t the fastest player on the list, but he more than makes up for it with production.

Facing Auburn in the Outback Bowl, Johnson registered 12 catches for 204 yards and two touchdowns against the SEC power.

On the season, Johnson had 86 catches for 1,318 yards and 13 TDs.

5. K.J. Hill, WR, Ohio State

Hill put on a route-running clinic at the Senior Bowl and after the rookie season Terry McLaurin had for the Redskins, Hill won’t be under-evaluated by scouts because of his Buckeyes pedigree.

3. Troy Pride Jr., CB, Notre Dame

6. Troy Pride Jr., CB, Notre Dame

The Notre Dame star is solidly built at 5-foot-11, 193 pounds, and can run, excelling in man-to-man, and rarely gets beat.

7. Ben Bartch, OT, St. John’s Minnesota

Bartch is powerful and likely won’t be available for the Eagles after using a special diet to gain 70 pounds during college, turning himself into one of the elite small school linemen in college football.

Bartch ascension at the Senior Bowl even caught the eye of former Eagles star, Tra Thomas.

With the Eagles getting older along the offensive line, Bartch is a name for the Eagles to look at on day 2 to help ease the transition of Jason Kelce.

8. Antonio Gandy-Golden, WR, Liberty

The 6-4, 215-pound stud put on a show in Mobile at the Senior Bowl and firmly put himself on the map as a player in the NFL draft.

Gandy-Golden has all the tools and 4.5 40-yard times that could catapult him up, draft boards.
Last season, Gandy-Golden racked up 79 catches for 1,396 yards and 10 touchdowns.

He excels at boxing out defenders and catching the ball at its highest point.
