BHOPAL: A total of eight new Covid-19 positive cases were reported in Madhya Pradesh on Monday taking the tally of positive cases reported in the state so far to 7,92,757.
As per the health bulletin released by the directorate of health on Monday, there were a total of 84 active cases in the state on October 25.
Earlier it was on September 1, that there were 83 active cases and since then there were more active cases everyday in the state.
New cases were reported in single digits from all the districts of the state. And no new case was reported from 48 districts of the state.
Maximum cases were reported from Bhopal district as 4 people tested positive, followed two new cases from Indore, and one new case each from Dhar and Jabalpur districts.
And on Monday positivity rate of 0.01% was reported. Positivity rate is the number of people testing positive out every 100 samples tested.
On October 25, 53932 samples were tested and of it 8 were found positive, thus on an average 1 person, out of every around 6800 who were tested, was found to be positive.
A total of 9 people recovered from the disease on October 25. With these people recovering the number of people who have recovered so far from the disease reached 782150.
Apart from it, no death was reported in the state on Monday and the death toll due to covid-19 remained 10523.
