8 ISIS Terrorists Killed in US Strike on Southern Libya

Eight ISIS terrorists were killed in a US air strike in southern Libya. (AP file photo)

Eight members of the ISIS terrorist group were killed in a US air strike in southern Libya.

The US Africa Command said in a statement said the militants were targeted near the town of Murzuq.

The raid took place on Thursday.

ISIS lost its Libya stronghold in the central town of Sirte in December 2016 but the group has retreated to the country’s vast desert to regroup.
