70 Houthi Militants Killed in Coalition Strikes in Yemen

Seventy members of the Iran-backed Houthi militias were killed in Arab coalition strikes in Yemen, reported the Emirates news agency (WAM).

The Saudi-led coalition jets, backed by United Arab Emirates Forces, targeted Houthi positions in Hodeidah and Sanaa.

The news agency spoke of the collapse of Houthi ranks in wake of the strikes.

The militants were dealt a strong blow that has created confusion in their ranks and exhausted their military capabilities amid the legitimate Yemeni forces’ advance on Hodeidah and its strategic port.

The joint Yemeni resistance forces captured 21 militants members, destroyed their defenses and fortifications in the west coast.

They discovered a number of Houthi vehicles and heavy artillery, left behind by the militants after they fled the battle.
