70 drivers at Loch Lomond issued with fines over 'illegal and dangerous' parking

70 drivers have been issued with fines over 'illegal and dangerous' parking at Loch Lomond, police have confirmed.

Officers were on hand to assist council staff on the road running between Balmaha and Rowardennen.

Police say the drivers' actions caused 'a danger to other road users'.

Forth Valley Police tweeted: "On Sat, 1 Aug, 2020, officers assisted our partners from Stirling Council enforcing the C6 road clearway between Balmaha and Rowardennan due to high numbers of vehicles parked illegally and causing a danger to other road users.

"A total of 70 fixed penalty tickets were issued."
