7 people wounded in shootings in Chicago Monday

Seven people were wounded by gunfire in Chicago Monday.

Among the victims was an 18-year-old man who was shot in Humboldt Park on the Northwest Side around 6:30 p.m., police said.

He was walking in the 2500 block of West Augusta Boulevard when someone in a passing white car fired shots. He was struck in the arm and back, and taken to Stroger Hospital where his condition was stabilized.

Six others were wounded in theshootings citywide.

Six people were killed and 18 others were wounded, in shootings last weekend in Chicago.
