7 top tips on how to easily French manicure your nails at home

If you're used to getting your nails done at the salon, no doubt they are looking pretty shabby by now, what with it being week eight of lockdown.

Like our barnets, we've had to improvise a little while the hairdressers and nail bars are closed.

While cutting your hair is probably best left to the professionals, you can practice painting your nails at home.

The French manicure is one of the most classic styles and it's actually easier to do than you might think.

With more time spent at home, there's no better time to give it a go.

Plus, if you're nails are looking past their best, it will make you feel better too.

Top tips for a French manicure:

1. Prep the nails by filing to shape.

2. Push back the cuticles

3. Use nail varnish remover to get rid of any oils.

4. Use a pale nail varnish all over each nail.

5. Paint the tips white.

6. Cover with top coat to seal the manicure.

7. Leave to dry
