7 Senior Bowl players who would look good with the Cardinals

The NFL draft is still months away but because of the Senior Bowl, many draft prospects are fresh on the mind of NFL fans everywhere. Several players who participated in the Senior Bowl look like they would fit nicely with the Arizona Cardinals.

There is still much evaluation to do, but just what we know from how they played last season and what they did the week of the Senior Bowl, here are some players would would look great in Cardinal red.

South Carolina Javon Kinlaw

Kinlaw was the talk of the Senior Bowl during the week. He created some buzz with his practice and some with what he said. He didn’t end up playing in the game but is expected to be a top-16 pick. He could land on the Cardinals’ radar and they desperately need more talent on the defensive line.

Utah DE Bradley Anae

Anae was a beast in the Pac-12 and had a huge performance in the Senior Bowl game, getting in on three sacks. He is incredibly strong and has a motor that will remind many of Markus Golden. He is longer than Golden and is likely more athletic. That pairing worked before with Chandler Jones. He would certainly make an impact in Arizona.

TCU RB Darius Anderson

Vasha Hunt-USA TODAY Sports

Anderson’s 130 yards from scrimmage were the most of any player at the Senior Bowl. He made plays in the running game and the passing game, hauling in a 75-yard touchdown pass. If for some reason Kenyan Drake doesn’t re-sign, he would be a nice pickup to add.

ASU RB Eno Benjamin

Benjamin wasn’t super productive in the game but he caught eye of a few analysts during practices and during the game for his receiving and blocking. Arizona State fans will know how much of a workhorse he can be, the plays he can make in the open field and how he can move the pile. He is a complete back.

UConn T Matt Peart

Vasha Hunt-USA TODAY Sports

Peart needs to add weight to his frame, according to some, but has some nice athleticism. He would fit the profile of a later-round tackle the Cardinals would take — like Will Holden, Korey Cunningham or Joshua Miles.

Houston OT Josh Jones

He rose his stock during the week and was honored by the players at the Senior Bowl as a practice player of the week on the offensive line. He has length and athleticism and the Cardinals need a right tackle.

ASU WR Brandon Aiyuk

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Aiyuk didn’t play in the Senior Bowl and was limited with an injury this week in practice but local fans know the impact he could have. There is buzz about a 40-time in the 4.3s when he runs at the combine. He would fit what the Cardinals offense needs and would make an immediate impact in the return game as well.
