7-round mock draft Vikings’ recap

Chad Reuter is a busy man this time of year, putting together multiple mock drafts as we’re less than a week away from the 2019 NFL Draft.

He put together a seven-round mock draft. You can check that out here.

For the Vikings, here’s a recap of who Reuter had them selecting with their eight picks.

Round 1, No. 18 overall: Chris Lindstrom, OG, Boston College
Round 2, No. 50: Amani Hooker, S, Iowa
Round 3, No. 81: Charles Omenihu, DE, Texas
Round 4, No. 120: Cody Barton, LB, Utah
Round 6, No. 190: Nick Fitzgerald, QB, Mississippi State
Round 6, No. 209: Ryquell Armstead, RB, Temple
Round 7, No. 247: Dillon Mitchell, WR, Oregon
Round 7, No. 250: Calvin Anderson, OT, Texas

Seven-round mock drafts are impossible, but Vikings fans should be happy with how the first two rounds of this mock draft went. The rest is more difficult to predict, but the Vikings address the defensive line, linebacker and depth at running back and wide receiver. The only pick that is a little curious is them taking Fitzgerald in the sixth round after signing Sean Mannion earlier this offseason.

What do you think of this mock for the Vikings?
