There are less than three weeks until the 2019 NFL draft and Drat Wire’s Luke Easterling has a new mock draft. This edition mocks the entire draft — all seven rounds.
His projection should not be surprising at the top of the draft, where the Cardinals have the first overall pick.
Here are the results for the Cardinals:
Round 1, pick 1: Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray

If Murray is the pick, the Cardinals will end up with another draft pick or picks by trading Josh Rosen. Murray could unlock the full potential of coach Kliff Kingsbury’s offense.
Round 2, pick 1: Oklahoma OT Cody Ford

After taking Murray, they add his protector in the second round. The Cardinals have their starting tackles but both are free agents after the season. Ford might not play as a rookie but should step in and start in 2020.
Round 3, pick 1: Georgia WR Riley Ridley

In the third round, they target a position of need in Ridley. He offers production and size. He isn’t a burner but should be an upgrade at the position.
Round 4, pick 1: Houston CB Isaiah Johnson

Johnson adds great athleticism to the position. He can grow and develop on the bench for now.
Round 5, pick 1: Georgia OL Lamont Gaillard

Gaillard used to be a defensive lineman but moved to center. He will not be expected to play as a rookie.
Rounds 6-7

The Cardinals have five picks in the final two rounds. Here are Easterling’s picks for them.
Round 6, pick 1: BYU LB Sione Takitaki
Round 6, pick 6: Oregon OLB Justin Hollins
Round 7, pick 34: Penn State DL Kevin Givens
Round 7, pick 35: Florida RB Jordan Scarlett
Round 7, pick 40: Ohio State WR Johnnie Dixon
