7 Ravens questionable for Week 9 vs. Patriots

The Baltimore Ravens were hoping their Week 8 bye would get everyone fresh for the second half of the 2019 season. But their injury report for Week 9 featured many of the same names we’ve seen over the last month. As they’re set to take on the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football, Baltimore has seven players listed as “questionable.”

Baltimore Ravens injuries:

WR Marquise Brown (ankle/thigh)
CB Maurice Canady (thigh)
S Bennett Jackson (ankle)
G Patrick Mekari (back)
LB Patrick Onwuasor (ankle)
CB Jimmy Smith (knee)
S Earl Thomas (knee)

While there are a bunch of impact players on this list, there is some good news. Talking to reporters on Friday, coach John Harbaugh had high hopes for Brown and said Smith will play. Thomas had also said he’ll be playing this week as well.

The Ravens will need all the help they can get in this game, going up against the undefeated Patriots. With the defense starting to gel together — as seen against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7 — and the offense capable of breaking off big plays both through the air and ground, Baltimore is one of the few teams in the league that look like they can bully New England.
