Rumors have begun circulating through the teams as the NFL trade season approaches. With expiring contracts and retiring players, agents and managers alike are on the lookout for the best possible deals.
From record-breakers to star-studded legacies, today we’re looking at the seven biggest trade deals being rumored in the NFL. Although where everyone is going hasn’t been officially decided yet, several interesting unofficial discussions have been taking place. Let’s take a look at what might happen this season.
DK Metcalf – Seattle Seahawks (WR)
DK Metcalf has been the talk of the town, with some of the most promising stats last season. The 27-year-old made his mark on the field with over 900 receiving yards in the six pro seasons he’s participated. This well-rounded wide receiver has a lot of potential to offer any team that picks him, especially considering he hasn’t been picked yet for the 2026 season.
Myles Garrett – Cleveland Browns (DE)
This list would be incomplete without legacy-name, Myles Garrett. Myles Garrett has been the Browns’ star player for some time now, but things have been rocky recently. With Garrett announcing that he’s looking for a fresh start, agents will be on the hunt for the slightest hint of his departure. Currently, Cleveland has no intention of letting him go, but for the right price, a deal can always be struck.
Kyle Pitts – Atlanta Falcons (TE)
Every player’s career hits a few ups and downs, and currently, Kyle’s standing isn’t in the best spot. The young athlete’s career took a dip after he landed a 1,000-yard debut in 2021. However, just because he’s down doesn’t mean he’s out of it. Pitts has an impressive skill set that just needs some work, and we’re sure he’ll definitely be able to bounce back stronger. Letting him go this early might be a big mistake.
Micah Parsons – Dallas Cowboys (LB)
Micah Parsons has been making waves ever since he entered the NFL four seasons ago. Now, he’s looking at the fruit of his labor with sky-high offers. Micah received the Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2021 and is definitely a sought-after player. The ball is in the Cowboys’ court: Will they choose to retain him at a heavy cost, or let him go in return for the fortune he’s worth?
Tyreek Hill – Miami Dolphins (WR)
Tyreek’s free agent status has been up in the air recently, but the Miami Dolphins have been quick to squash any rumors circulating. Still, his public display of frustration didn’t go unnoticed by the media, and agents are wondering how long he’ll be able to stick it out. With Tyreek bordering 32 and not having had the most impressive season lately, it will be interesting to see where he makes a move.
Deebo Samuel – Washington Commanders (WR)
Injuries can have a big impact on future prospects, something Deebo Samuel is starting to realize. Even with a remarkable track record, the Washington Commanders aren’t too keen on keeping him with his history of injuries. Deebo’s contract expires in 2025. Will the Commanders push him out to create space?
George Pickens – Pittsburgh Steelers (WR)
Wide receivers have really been in demand this season, meaning the competition is stiff. Through it all, George Pickens has shown himself to be one to look out for. Recently, he’s been experimenting at the Steelers, still trying to get a feel for things. While it hasn’t always worked out, Pickens has had his time in the spotlight. The question remains: Are the Steelers keen enough on keeping Pickens? We’ll find out by the end of the season.
