LUCKNOW: Seven fresh dengue cases were reported in the city on Sunday, taking the count to 427 since January. Nearly 83% (354) of the total cases that have been reported so far, came in last 32 days. This means an average of 11 cases daily.
Those diagnosed with dengue had visited outpatients' door services of different hospitals across the city following fatigue and joint pain along with high fever. They included two women.
According to the health department, tests of all patients came positive in the ELISA test. The condition of all the patients is stable. They have been prescribed medication and are recovering at home. The patients were from Indiranagar, Aliganj, Chinhat, and Alambagh areas of the city.
Meanwhile, dengue mosquito larvae were found at 16 houses after scanning 1,178 sites in Rajajipuaram, Jankipuaram, New-Haiderganj, Faizullahganj and Alamnagar. Notices have been issued to sanitise mosquito breeding sites.
