The summer months usually see a flurry of activity in the housing market - and May was no different.
A number of properties at both ends of the scale in Leeds saw new owners come and go, and we've rounded up the seven priciest new purchases.
None of them were anywhere near as expensive as May's most astronomical sale on a national scale. That came in London, where a flat sold for a eye-watering £12 million.
Nonetheless, each of the seven dream houses below sold for £500,000 or more, which is hardly small change.
