7 bold predictions for the 2021 Daytona 500 and NASCAR Cup Series season

The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season is here, and — after a week of loaded on-track action at Daytona International Speedway with duels, practices and the Busch Clash — it officially kicks off Sunday with the Daytona 500 (2:30 p.m. ET, FOX).

And despite having an incredibly unpredictable 2020 season — which ended with Chase Elliott winning his first Cup Series championship — we’re attempting to predict some big storylines throughout 2021.
