With 66 days left until Georgia football, we’re about two months away from the Dawgs return to the field. We are even closer to the return of NCAA Football. The Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes renew their season to start the 2019 slate on August 24th.
Number 66 for UGA is offensive guard Solomon Kindley. Kindley is from Jacksonville, Florida and started all fourteen games at left guard for the Dawgs last season. Following last season, Kindley was considered one of the most improved players on the offensive side of the ball.
Kindley was a three-star prospect coming out of Raines High School. As the #40 OG nationally, Kindley has exceed expectations at Georgia. He made the all Freshman team in 2017, when he made seven starts at RG. We project Kindley as the 5th best player on the team heading into 2019. Kindley was arguably the best pass blocking lineman in the SEC last season:
Not bad for a three-star recruit. It’ll be fun to see how much more he improves in 2019.
