Police are investigating after 63 cannabis plants were found hidden in a shed in west Wales.

Officers made the discovery while they were attending a property in the Newcastle Emlyn area, near the Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion border.

No arrests have been made, but the investigation is ongoing.

All 63 plants were bagged up at the scene and taken away by police.

A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “The cannabis was found in a large shed during a search of a property in relation to other matters on Friday, September 13.

“63 cannabis plants of various sizes were found, and the investigation is ongoing.”

Anyone with information which could help police with their investigation is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police either by e-mailing contactcentre@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk or by calliung 101.
