62 players Broncos should consider during NFL free agency

The NFL’s free agency negotiating window opened on Monday and Denver Broncos general manager John Elway wasted no time before taking action.

Denver placed a second-round tender on offensive lineman Elijah Wilkinson and placed four tenders on exclusive rights free agents. Then the Broncos agreed to sign guard/center Graham Glasgow to a four-year, $44 million contract. That deal won’t become official until Wednesday.

Elway isn’t done making moves and we’ve put together lists of seven different positions where the team could take action, totaling 62 players.

Denver has shown interest in defensive linemen D.J. Reader and Quinton Jefferson as well as slot cornerback Kevin Johnson. The Broncos are also trying to re-sign backup quarterback Brandon Allen and cornerback De’Vante Bausby. We are tracking all of the team’s moves here.

The new league year and official start of NFL free agency will begin Wednesday. Deals will not become official until then.
