616 new cases confirmed in Osaka Pref.

The Osaka prefectural government said it confirmed 616 new cases of infection with the novel coronavirus on Thursday, marking the first time the daily number surpassed 600 since Jan. 16, when there were 629 new cases. The daily number of new cases in the prefecture has exceeded that of Tokyo for the third consecutive day.
