आज से शुरू हो रहे संसद के मानसून सत्र में 400 पत्रकारों में सिर्फ 60 पत्रकारों को ही कवर करने की इजाजत दी गई. यह प्रतिबंध लोकसभा स्पीकर द्वारा सभी स्थायी पास को फिर से चालू किए जाने के वादे के बाद भी जारी है.

पीसीआई ने संसद के दोनों सदनों में सभी राजनीतिक दलों के नेताओं को पत्र लिखा है. पत्र में कहा गया है कि राज्यसभा के सभापति और लोकसभा के अध्यक्ष संसदीय लोकतंत्र को बचाएं और सभी मीडिया को हमेशा की तरह अनुमति दें.
