The Arizona Cardinals will certainly try to address their wide receiver room with free agency coming this week. Who could be on their radar? Here are some possibilities for them to consider. Four are players Arizona Sports 98.7 FM’s John Gambadoro has said the Cardinals will consider. The others have some connection to the Cardinals coaching staff.
WR Randall Cobb

Cobb has a couple of connections to the Cardinals coaching staff — passing game coordinator/QB coach Tom Clements and receivers coach David Raih. Cobb’s best seasons were when Clements was the offensive coordinator for the Packers. He had 38 catches for 383 yards and two touchdowns in nine games in 2018.
Geronimo Allison

Allison is a restricted free agent but so far has not been tendered by the Packers. He shares the same connections with the Cardinals that Cobb has. He is 6-3, 202 pounds and caught 20 passes for 303 yards and two scores in five games.
Breshad Perriman

Perriman is a former first-round pick who has a ton of speed but hasn’t had a ton of production. He has bounced around on three different teams, but he had 16 catches for 340 yards and two touchdowns for the Cleveland Browns last season.
Tavon Austin

Austin has long been a disappointment as a former top-10 pick but he has tools that Kliff Kingsbury might love. He is great in space, he is versatile, able to line up in the backfield, run deep routes and take short passes and turn them into bigger gains. He could benefit greatly from this system. He is not short on speed but his production has been minimal the last two seasons. He had eight catches in 2018 and only 21 over the last two.
Phillip Dorsett

He was a member of the world champion New England Patriots last season and we named him one of the free agents to watch in the Super Bowl. A former first-round pick who has played for the Colts and Patriots, has not been a big producer. he has started only 11 games in four seasons and caught 32 passes for 290 yards for the Pats last season. He is 5-10 and weighs 192 pounds and is a burner with his speed.
Rishard Matthews

The Cardinals took a look at Matthews during the 2018 season but never signed him. He only had five catches in eight games between two different teams in 2018.
