The Rams will have their full crop of safeties back in 2022, with Jordan Fuller, Taylor Rapp and Nick Scott all returning. Eric Weddle obviously won’t be back after only joining the Rams for their playoff run, but the starters from the regular season are still under contract.
That doesn’t mean Los Angeles should ignore the position in the draft. There’s mid-round talent to be had and it doesn’t hurt to get ahead of things with Scott and Rapp both scheduled to become free agents in 2023.
