Josh Rosen needs a new home. Not that his one season in Arizona has provided much of a home or comfort for the former UCLA star.
Where will he land? Certainly not Washington or the New York Giants, who drafted quarterbacks in the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday rather than trading for Rosen.
What are the options for the Cardinals, who seem to have put themselves in quite a pickle in not unloading Rosen before drafting Kyler Murray with the No. 1 overall pick?

Los Angeles Chargers

Who says you can’t go home again? Rosen would have to be humble and able to sit behind Philip Rivers as the Chargers great heads into the California sunset of his career. There are far worse places to learn, especially on a team that should be a Super Bowl contender.
Oakland Raiders

The Raiders had three first-round draft picks and none of them were quarterbacks. Does this mean Jon Gruden remains enamored with Derek Carr or did he know his Raiders have far greater problems. Landing Rosen and keeping Carr would create a quarterback battle. And it is hard to believe Rosen would want to sit behind a quarterback who has struggled the way Carr has.
New England Patriots

This would be quite the step up from the desert. From the worst to first. And there is no way Rosen would come into the Patriot Way and get brusque with Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. At least if he knows what would be good for him. The bigger problem is Brady seems to defy age and it is hard to believe Rosen would want to play Aaron Rodgers to Brett Favre.
Green Bay Packers

Speaking of Rodgers and Favre, what harm would there be in Green Bay adding Rosen in hopes he could play Rodgers to Favre. It would be learning from another California QB and could provide a stellar experience after the disaster in the desert. Rosen would have to be a better alternative as a future QB than Tim Boyle or DeShone Kizer. And Rodgers could teach him the virtue of patience … if he wanted to do such.
Miami Dolphins

Now, this is a place where Rosen could thrive and find a possible immediate starting spot. All he would have to do is live up to the billing that made him the No. 10 overall pick in 2018 out of college. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Luke Falk and Jake Rudock are the QBs on the Miami roster. With some protection, Rosen could be a fit.
Cincinnati Bengals

Andy Dalton hasn’t led Cincinnati much of anywhere. There is Jeff Driskel, but there is no guarantee he is the future. There’s an opportunity here, especially with a new coach in Zac Taylor.
The long shots

There are two more quarterbacks who are heading into their final years. However, neither one seems to be ready to go anywhere. So, it is highly unlikely the Saints or Steelers would take a chance on Rosen. But it never hurts to flirt. Or does it?
