BHOPAL: A total of 6 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the state on Friday. And against these 6 new covid-19 cases, only 4 people recovered from the disease.
Thus, the number of active patients increased to 44 on April 15 from 42 on April 14.
So far in 15 days of April, 120 new covid-19 cases have been reported in the state and in the same duration, 212 people have recovered. From 136 active cases on March 31, there are now only 44 active cases.
Friday was also the 31st consecutive day when less than 50 new covid-19 patients were reported in the state.
Prior to this it was on March 14, that more than 50 new covid-19 cases were reported as 51 had tested positive, since then less than 50 cases are being reported.
No death was reported in the state on April 15. New infections were reported only from 6 of the 52 districts of the state. Each of Indore, Narsinghpur, Raisen, Sagar, Shivpuri and Singrauli districts, reported one case each.
Positivity rate of 0.07 percent was reported in the state. Positivity rate is the number of people testing positive out of every 100 samples tested. Only 7561 samples were tested in the state. On the brighter side 4 people recovered in the state.
