6 Killed in Train Collision in Morocco

Six people were killed in a train collision in Tangier. (AFP)

Six people were killed on Saturday when a train collided with a bus in northern Morocco.

Some 14 people were also wounded in the incident that took place in the city of Tangier.

The police have since opened an investigation in the accident.

King Mohammed VI sent messages of condolences to the families of the victims and hoped for a speedy recovery for the injured.
