6 interesting moments from Zion Williamson’s NBA Draft media day

Zion Williamson is just a day away from officially starting his NBA career.

He seems to be handling the hype around him really well, another sign that he should absolutely be the No. 1 overall pick by the New Orleans Pelicans (although his explosiveness, stellar play on both ends of the floor and wingspan are a few other good reasons he’s the best player available in the draft).

That was in full effect on Wednesday during NBA draft media availability, when a gaggle of reporters crowded around him and asked all kinds of questions. Here’s what we found out from the Duke forward:

1. It’s hard to be the guy seated next to Williamson

Poor Goga Bitadze.

2. He could handle even the toughest questions

Here’s one from Duke teammate R.J. Barrett, who asked him how it felt to be the best prospect since LeBron James:

3. He didn’t eat chicken tenders for dinner while in New Orleans

4. He didn’t have a huge reaction to Anthony Davis getting traded

5. He doesn’t feel any pressure

Again, this is part of what makes him so good in my mind:

6. He loves Michael Jordan’s defense
