Kevin Durant said it best over the weekend about NBA fans throwing food and water bottles at players: “Grow the [expletive] up and enjoy the game.”
The Brooklyn Nets star also pointed out something that might explain why we’ve seen so many of these incidents in the 2021 postseason: “I know that being in the house for a year and a half with the pandemic, got a lot of people on edge, got a lot of people stressed out.”
That said, it’s inexcusable, horrifying and dangerous for the players.
