Tiger Woods hadn’t played a PGA Tour event since the 2020 Masters, where he finished 38th all the way back in November of that year (although he did participate in the PNC Championship this past December).
Yet there he is at Augusta in 2022, making the cut and playing amazingly for someone recovering from the injuries he suffered in a horrifying car crash in 2021.
All of that said, he finished ahead of a bunch of notable names on the Masters leaderboard who missed the cut, a few that surprised a lot of golf fans. Let’s run through them before the third round on Saturday:
