6 Dogs dead: Atlanta rapper dies at 21 as tributes flood social media for the late star

Rapper 6 Dogs has died aged 21, according to reports.

Social media was flooded with tributes following the news of his death.

The musician, real name Chase Amick, was best known for his tracks Faygo Dreams and Flossing.

6 Dogs battled with coronavirus last year after he tested positive in July.

The rapper died on January 26, first reported by Everything Georgia.

During his career, 6 Dogs built a loyal following of more than 171K Instagram followers and 37K Twitter followers.

He made waves on the music scene when he joined Sound Cloud in 2016.

At first, the rapper tried to keep his singing career a secret from his family because they were devoted Christians.

Social media was awash with friends and fans alike sharing tributes for the late star.

Rapper lil aaron paid tribute with a tribute to his friend on social media.

The musician, real name Chase Amick, was best known for his tracks Faygo Dreams and Flossing (Twitter)

He wrote: "Rip 6 dogs. real underground legend. made it all the way to benny blanco off of some internet rap songs. forever the goat."

He added: "I rarely met anyone from the soundcloud scene in that era that was just positive and nice to everyone like 6 dogs was. always had some inspiring shit to say. even if it was random af. such a nice kid. gone way to fucking soon. rip 6 dogs." (sic)

Lyrical Lemonade wrote: "we love you 6 dogs, you will be remembered forever."

Fans wrote: "Rip 6 dogs. One of the best in that 2016-2018 era. You will be missed."

"6 dogs was one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure of talking to . One of the only people who never changed when the clout came. he will forever be a part of my life and memories . So down to earth . So encouraging. So based . Rest in paradise.."
