It's only natural that when Celtic fans look ahead to January they'll be thinking of the incoming market.
Manager Ange Postecoglou has promised further reinforcements and his track record so far provides reason for optimism.
The likes of Kyogo Furuhashi, Jota and Cameron Carter-Vickers have hit the ground running, leaving supporters excited at the possibility of the likes of Daizen Maeda joining them in the winter window.
Any rebuild will involve trimming the squad too though, with plenty of players Celtic will be looking to ship out in January.
Here are six who could be on the move.
Albian Ajeti

His goals-to-games ratio may not be bad but there's no question that Ajeti has not offered anything like what is expected from a £4.5m striker.
Signed from West Ham in the summer of 2020 the Swiss got six goals and an assist in 19 appearances last season, of which only 10 were starts.
In many ways though that's the problem with Ajeti, who was criticised for a lack of fitness by Neil Lennon in his debut campaign.
Any hope of a renaissance under Postecoglou was short-lived, with a similar story emerging under the new boss.
Ajeti has started four games and while he's returned three goals in all competitions he hasn't completed 90 minutes since September.
As revealed by Record Sport Celtic are ready to cut their losses in January on a player who will go down as an expensive flop.
Vasilis Barkas
Another arrival from a summer 2020 transfer window that looks increasingly like one of Celtic's worst in modern times.
The aforementioned Ajeti, Shane Duffy and Diego Laxalt failed to make the grade but arguably the worst of all was goalkeeper Barkas.
Signed for £5m plus bonuses the 27-year-old had one of the worst save percentages in the league last season and never looked remotely reliable.
His ability with the ball at his feet led Postecoglou to give his fellow Greek a chance but after some shaky pre-season performances Barkas flapped at free-kick in the Champions League qualifer against Midtjylland and hasn't been seen since.
Given the goalkeeper signed a four-year contract Celtic would have to recoup over £3m to avoid making a loss on the books but they may well prefer to cut their losses.
Liam Shaw
Signed from Sheffield Wednesday in the summer, the 20-year-old is one for the future.
Shaw is yet to feature in a competitive match for his new team, and while he's young enough to have a future at Parkhead the club may well look to loan him out for some game time.
A move elsewhere in the Premiership could well be the answer as the midfielder looks to adjust to Scottish football.
It's a strategy that has served Celtic well in the past, with Kris Ajer sent to Kilmarnock and Ryan Christie initially loaned back to Inverness before a spell at Aberdeen.
Boli Bolingoli
While he's a threat going forward, the left-back is also a threat at the other end after being nicknamed Boli Bolingoli-Mbombscare by fans.
The Belgian - cousin of Romelu and Jordan Lukaku - arrived from Rapid Vienna in 2019 but repeated lapses at the back saw him lose his place to Greg Taylor.
An unauthorised trip to Spain in the midst of the Covid pandemic didn't help his case, particularly when he failed to inform the club on his return and was unknowingly brought on against Kilmarnock.
Bolingoli has made two appearances this season but that's largely thanks to injury, with Taylor sidelined with shoulder surgery.
There may well be a market out there for him, with Istanbul Basaksehir taking him on loan last season, and Celtic will be keen to cash in if they can.
Osaze Urhoghide

Another opportunistic signing from Sheffield Wednesday, Urhoghide could be farmed out on loan.
Reports from Lennoxtown indicate the 21-year-old has struggled with Postecoglou's style in training and the fact 18-year-old Dane Murray was picked ahead of him for the Midtjylland game would appear to bear that out.
With Urhoghide yet to make his debut, a loan move to a side playing in a similar style to 'Ange-ball' where he can make his mistakes could be the best thing for the centre-back.
Owen Moffat
Moffat impressed in pre-season and is highly-rated at Celtic, so should have a big future at Parkhead.
There's plenty of competition in his attacking midfield role though and the 19-year-old is perhaps another who could benefit from a loan move.
Moffat has been tearing it up for the B team in the Lowland league with eight goals in 14 games so far but it may well be time for him to start getting minutes under his belt at a higher level.
If that's not with the Celtic first team then a Premiership or Championship switch could be on the cards.
