6.4 magnitude earthquake hits Nepal; strong tremors felt in Delhi-NCR

NEW DELHI: On Friday night, Nepal experienced a strong earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale, which also sent tremors across northern India, including the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR), as reported by the National Centre for Seismology.

The earthquake's epicenter was located in Nepal, with a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the NCS.

Residents in Delhi and the NCR felt significant tremors and quickly evacuated their homes.

This marks the third occurrence of a substantial earthquake in Nepal within the past month.
