56-year-old woman killed after being hit by car named by police as driver arrested

A 56-YEAR-OLD woman who was killed after she was hit by a car in West Dunbartonshire has been named as Kellylee Robson.

Police were called to Dumbarton Road in Clydebank at around 5.40pm on Thursday, November 7, following a report of a pedestrian being struck by a Volkswagen Amarok.

The pedestrian, Robson, died following the collision. 

Police said a 58-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an investigation into the incident. 

Officers added that the 58-year-old man is subject to a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
