In just a few short days, the Oakland Raiders will be playing an actual football game against an opponent. Once that game kicks off, time is ticking for several players at the bottom of the roster to make their impression on the coaching staff.
General manager Mike Mayock and head coach Jon Gruden have done a fantastic job of improving the overall talent on the roster. There is healthy competition across the entire team, and that is going to force the Raiders to make some difficult decisions over the next month.
With that in mind, here is our latest projection of what the Raiders 53-man roster may look like, updated after the first two weeks of training camp practice. As a reminder, suspended players such as Richie Incognito and Nevin Lawson are not included in this list as they won’t be available for Week 1.
