Man dies after plunging from window on Belgrave Crescent in Edinburgh

A 51-year-old man has died after falling from a window in Edinburgh.

Emergency services raced to the scene on Belgrave Crescent yesterday evening (28 July) at 6:15pm following reports of a man falling from a second floor window.

It is understood several police cars, fire crews and an ambulance attended the incident but police have now confirmed that the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers say that the death is being treated as unexplained but add that it does not appear to be suspicious at this time.

It comes just a week after a man died after falling out of the window on the Royal Mile on 21 July
