A nephew of the deceased, who lives in Abu Dhabi, told Gulf News that Yousafe was travelling on a visit visa and was returning to India alone when the incident occurred.

According to airline sources cited by the newspaper, Yousafe experienced breathing difficulties shortly before departure. The cabin crew immediately sought medical assistance and paramedics rushed to the aircraft to attend to him.

He was later taken to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

The exact cause of death has not yet been confirmed, although family members believe he may have suffered a heart attack.

The incident caused a brief delay to the flight before it continued its journey. Yousafe is survived by his wife and five children, including a three-month-old baby.

His body is currently being kept in a mortuary, while relatives and community members make arrangements to repatriate his remains to his hometown in Kerala.
