'€500m transfer budget incoming!' Arsenal fans react as Emery's squad meets with Dubai Sheikh

Arsenal's stay in Dubai saw them move away from the training ground on Sunday and into more palatial surroundings.

Unai Emery's squad arrived in the United Arab Emirates on Friday and have spent the past two days doing some warm weather training at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.

But on Sunday they were giving the day off, with Mesut Ozil, Bernd Leno, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Shkodran Mustafi spending the morning on a sightseeing expedition, taking in sights such as the Dubai Frame.

Then the quartet returned to the team hotel to link up with the rest of the squad who, along with the coaching staff, were taken to the Zabeel Palace.

That was where they met the deputy ruler of Dubai, his highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum. They were also greeted by his highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the CEO and chairman of the Emirates Group.

Arsenal's official Twitter accounted tweeted out a picture of the meeting and it led to quite an interesting reaction from fans around the world, with Stan Kroenke's name popping up in the majority of responses.

Here's a selection of how some Arsenal supporters responded.
