A 50-year-old Bristol shop which collapsed into administration in January has reopened today (April 4) after a revamp.
Kitchens Cookshop on Whiteladies Road was saved after being bought by Gloucestershire cookware company ProCook.
The acquisition saved 330 jobs, including 12 roles in the Bristol branch, where some staff have worked for more than 30 years.
The first Kitchens Cookshop store was opened in 1968 on Waterloo Street, Clifton, by Douglas Bullock who had outgrown his Sunday market stall selling utensils and aprons.
The retailer expanded in 1970 and opened the company's second store just around the corner on Whiteladies Road.

Store manager Rowena Harris has worked for Kitchens Cookshop for 30 years. She said: “We have many long standing, experienced staff in the store with extensive specialist knowledge.
"Having an injection of high-quality cookware and kitchenware lines is fantastic news as we can continue our legacy of being the number one destination in Bristol for serious cooks.”
The shop will stock brands including Robert Welch, Emma Bridgewater, Cuisinart and Joseph Joseph, as well as new ranges from ProCook.
