Some 50 short films will be screened on Sunday at the Salam (peace) contest, organized by the Salam project for communication between civilizations, reported the Saudi Press Agency Friday.
The Riyadh-hosted event aims to encourage talented youths and others interest in the field to present their views on the Kingdom’s future and Vision 2030.
Awards will be handed out during a ceremony that will be attended by international figures, who are set to present to the gatherers their experience in intercommunication and coexistence in Saudi Arabia.
A number of events will be held on the sidelines of the two-day contest.
The majority of the short films focus on coexistence and tolerance and highlight Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian profile, said organizers.
