50 Cent has revealed an unlikely friendship with cockney hardman Danny Dyer, vowing to help his daughter succeed as an actor.
The American rapper, real name Curtis Jackson III, told how he struck up a secret friendship with the EastEnders star when they crossed paths while starring in film Dead Man Running in 2009.
Speaking to the Daily Star, the Power star admitted he has always been a fan of 41-year-old Dyer’s films.
He told the publication: “I've watched most of the big UK crime and gangster movies, going back to Lock Stock and Snatch, Layer Cake, and the more recent ones my boy Danny has been in.”
Addressing his willingness to help Dyer’s Love Island champion daughter Dani, the 43-year-old added: “If his daughter wants any help with breaking into Hollywood she got it.
“Danny is a good friend of mine and it would be no problem helping his little girl out.”
Dani, 22, is currently gearing up for her small-screen reality TV series where she is set to appear alongside fellow Love Island beau Jack Fincham.
Opening up on the venture, she told the Metro: “I wanted to set the record straight on this one. Jack and me are filming something for ITVBe at the moment, while we are being followed around by cameras.
“I can’t tell you much more than that for now but hopefully the people who followed and supported us on Love Island will enjoy it.”
The couple recently hit back at split rumours after they were said to be under strain over work commitments.
