50 Cent has been slated by a string of celebrities after he urged his followers to vote for Donald Trump in the American presidential election.
The rapper, 45, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a photo of the current US president.
In it, he claimed that Trump "doesn’t like black people" but continued to encourage his 26.2 million followers to vote for the 74-year-old instead of opponent Joe Biden.
The hit-maker posted a screenshot of a television broadcast from CNBC's Power Lunch that showed top tax rates per state under Democratic candidate Joe Biden's proposed tax plan.
After learning about Biden’s plans, the rapper wrote: “WHAT THE F***! (VOTE For TRUMP) IM OUT.
“F** NEW YORK, The KNICKS never win anyway.
“I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62 percent are you out of ya f***ing mind.”
Following his unexpected social media outburst, 50 Cent was dubbed "idiotic" before a string of famous faces blasted the rapper.
His former flame Chelsea Handler even chimed in on the saga as she took to Twitter. She wrote: “You used to be my favorite ex-boyfriend.”
Meanwhile, actress Grey DeLisle shared: "Of course the guy whose name is literally *an amount of money* cares more about that than black lives, LGBTQ rights or kids in cages. #50Cent."
50 Cent’s support for Trump appears to be a sudden reaction.
During an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, the rapper claimed he was offered half a million dollars to attend Trump's presidential inauguration in 2017.
Despite this, he declined the invitation because he worried what his appearance would do for his career.
"I didn't do it because I didn't know if I could fix the damage. Don't bring me to fix the African American vote, pick somebody else,” he explained.
It’s seems as though he’s changed his mind now, however, in time for the election on November 3.
