The Arizona Cardinals held their final public practice of training camp at State Farm Stadium on Saturday afternoon. What happened on Saturday that was notable?
Here is what you need to know, based on those media members who were in attendance.
WR Kevin White returned to practice

After showing promise early in the offseason, White, who has dealt with injuries his entire NFL career, was sidelined for a couple of weeks with a hamstring issue. He returned to practice on Saturday.
Patrick Peterson sits out practice

Peterson’s reps have begun to decrease as the Cardinals prepare for his suspension. He sat out on Saturday, leaving the defense to look at cornerback like they will when they start the season without both Peterson and Robert Alford.
Tramaine Brock, Byron Murphy and Chris Jones played on the first-team defense, with Murphy playing in the slot.
First-team reps for rookie linemen

Left tackle D.J. Humphries sat out and so did Mason Cole, who has been practicing at left guard. Justin Pugh is still out, so a pair of draft picks practiced with the first-team offense. Seventh-round pick Joshua Miles was at left tackle and sixth-round pick Lamont Gaillard was at left guard.
No Larry Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald was not at practice. He was excused to participate in former Cardinals and Steelers receivers coach Darryl Drake’s funeral.
Kyler Murray passing numbers

Murray started slow and threw two interceptions. However, his numbers for practice weren’t bad.
“Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray went 16-for-25 with two interceptions during 11 on 11 on Saturday, by my count. He once again started slow, throwing a pick on his fourth pass and beginning 1-for-4. He got into a rhythm during a 2-minute drill, which he capped off with a touchdown to fellow rookie WR Andy Isabella.”
