HOUSTON — The Houston Texans held their ninth day of training camp at the Houston Methodist Training Center. Once again, the Texans’ defense stood out the most, as their secondary pulled down three interceptions on the day. Dating back to Friday’s practice, Houston’s defense has now recorded 16 turnovers in six days.
“A Lovie Smith defense has always been aggressive,” head coach David Culley says following Thursday’s practice. “It has been a defense that has always created turnovers — and we are seeing that right now. And that is what you wanna [see], the defense around the ball.”
