George Pickens, a five-star wide receiver out of Hoover High School, has made his final decision. The No. 4 wide receiver in the nation will play for the Georgia Bulldogs next season, after originally committing to Auburn in the summer of 2017.
Pickens gave LSU, Miami, and Tennessee some consideration but was thought to be a lock on ‘the Plains’.
A native of Hoover, Alabama, Pickens chose the Bulldogs over staying closer to home. The wide receiver is ranked No. 41 in the nation overall, No. 4 at his position and No. 1 in his home state.
The Bulldogs travel to Auburn on November 16th, where they will face-off against Pickens’ original team for the first time. We can only imagine the plethora of booing that will come on ‘the Plains’ when Pickens’ name is announced.
